Why morons win at economics
What happens when you get out of school during a recession? This: no one’s had the time to prove who’s better so they’re hired completely randomly. Soon the inept have long job histories & are in charge. (The smart retire or do something with their lives.)

I remember the good times - I know people who made $70/hr in tech jobs who didn’t understand cut & paste. These people run the economy. (And it doesn’t help that we live like royalty with corporate heirs in charge.)

And you want to know how you get hired by the inept? You pretend to be inept like them.

Ahhh..the inept. The word ‘inept’ means something or someone who lacks the necessary skill or aptitude for a certain function or project. Inept can easily be used to describe someone who did go to school and get a “proper” education. Have you herd the story of the franchise owner who changed his own oil to save a few bucks? The car slipped off the jack and crushed him to death. Comparing people with degrees and without is comparing apples to oranges as far as the majority that takes advantage of being able to get an education. Anyone can get an education. Why choose to go to school and get married and have babies and get a career and buy a house with a white picket fence on a street named after a tree….cuz it works. That was the mantra of the old days. Communism is older than Democracy and it apparently works too. The difference between us and communist countries is the privileges we seek. But if you were to take the style of living and the ideals and apply it to the freedoms we have been given….well sir, you’d have your self a fine life. Take me for example. I went to school until I realized I didn’t know why I was going and I had fallen into the “do what works’ way of thinking. But I grew up loving music so much that when it hit me, it wasn’t too late to take a chance on my passion for drumming. I quite and got a job as a Manager for a movie theater. Then I got fired for a “possible conflict of interest” when employees starting going to my shows. Then I got a job working for the SSA as a temp agent. I was then placed with H&R Block and I did basic software troubleshooting. But I broke and fixed things until the tax season ended and I joined up with Earthlink until they outsourced. I now work for At&t. I work overnight and have recently started a graphic design business. I still play in a band and I’m becoming a Real Estate agent. I plan to go back to school to get my pilots license….notice a trend. I do what I want when I want and I’m passionate about it. Not to mention I have learned so much along the way. If one were able to coincide their passion with something that made them money, they would be unstoppable. Going to school should be something you do to supplement your life. Not start it. Same goes for Social security and credit. The ones that push school or beliefs or anything into your life because they say its the right thing to do or its good for you are making a buck or two doing it….unless their your parents; in which case they are just inept.
