A false debate: voluntary vs coercion.
Conservatives like to say “There are only two ways to organize society, coercively, through government, or voluntarily.” They’re pretending we’d “voluntarily” get along without government. Really there’s always going to be force & what matters is electing someone who uses that force wisely.
